Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Prepology, an exam-preparation app run by an individual developer in India (“we”, “us”). They apply to the website, the web app and the Android app. By creating an account or using Prepology you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Prepology
Prepology is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to create an account, use the app or buy a plan. At sign-up and sign-in you enter your date of birth and confirm that you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy; we record the date you gave, when you gave it and which version of the terms you accepted. If the date you enter shows you are under 18, no account is opened. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete its data. We do not offer Prepology to schools or to learners below Class 12, and we do not advertise it to children.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person, for your own preparation. Do not share or sell access.
- Tell us at contact@kamaldhami.in if you think someone else has used your account.
What Prepology provides
Prepology builds an adaptive daily study plan and offers practice questions, revision, mock tests, notes, flashcards, progress estimates and an AI study Mentor for exams such as GATE CS, NEET UG, JEE Main and CUET UG. We keep improving the app, so features may be added, changed or removed. If we remove a feature that is part of a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
Free and Plus plans
- Free: up to 20 practice questions a day and the core study plan.
- Plus: up to 200 practice questions a day and timed mock tests, for ₹49 a month or ₹499 a year.
Prices are in Indian rupees. The final amount is shown at checkout before you pay. Coupons, where offered, are applied at checkout.
Payments, renewal and cancellation
- Prepology sells Plus. Payments are processed by Razorpay, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator, under its terms; Razorpay emails you a receipt for each payment. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank details. Plans bought before 20 October 2026 through Dodo Payments stay with Dodo, which remains the merchant of record for them, until they end or are cancelled.
- Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price you agreed to, until you cancel. When you subscribe you set up a recurring-payment mandate through Razorpay (UPI AutoPay or a card), which you authorise (for example with an OTP or UPI PIN) on the first payment. You can also see and revoke a UPI AutoPay mandate in your UPI app. Before each renewal charge, you get a pre-debit notice at least 24 hours in advance, as RBI rules require.
- You can cancel at any time in the app from Settings, or by email. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Plus until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then move to the Free plan. There is no cancellation fee. A cancelled Razorpay subscription can’t be turned back on; you can subscribe again once it ends.
- If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay may retry it for up to a week and you keep Plus meanwhile. If it still fails, your account moves to the Free plan.
- You can switch between monthly and yearly billing in the app. The switch takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for: you approve a new auto-pay mandate for the other plan, nothing is charged or refunded at the time of switching, and the new price is charged from that date. For plans paid through Dodo Payments, switching from monthly to yearly takes effect at once: you pay the yearly price less the unused part of your current month, and the year starts that day; switching from yearly to monthly takes effect at the end of the paid year, with no charge or refund at the time of switching.
- If we change the price of Plus, we will tell you before your next renewal, and the new price will apply only from that renewal. You can cancel before then.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

The AI Mentor
The Mentor uses an AI model (provided by Groq) to answer study questions. Its answers are generated automatically and may be wrong or incomplete. The Mentor is not a substitute for a teacher; check important points against your textbooks and the exam body’s notices. Do not share sensitive personal information in Mentor chats. We do not store Mentor chats; see the Privacy Policy.
Our content and its accuracy
- Most practice questions and explanations are written for Prepology, with AI assistance, then reviewed. Some questions are marked as unverified. Mistakes can still happen; please report them from the question or from Settings → Help & support.
- Some questions are from past examination papers, reproduced for instruction under Section 52 of the Copyright Act, 1957. Prepology is not affiliated with the NTA, the IITs or any examination body. If you hold rights in any material and want it removed, write to contact@kamaldhami.in and we will remove it within 7 days.
- Exam patterns, syllabus coverage, section weights, readiness and mastery figures are our estimates to help you plan. They are not official and are not a prediction of your score or rank.
- Prepology is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the National Testing Agency (NTA), any IIT, or any other exam-conducting body. Exam names are used only to describe what the app helps you prepare for.
- Always follow the official notices of the exam body for dates, eligibility, syllabus and rules.
- We cannot and do not guarantee any exam result, score, rank or admission.
Ownership
The app, its design, questions, explanations and other content belong to us or our licensors, except questions from past examination papers, which remain with their rights holders. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own preparation while your account is open. Your notes and flashcards remain yours; you let us store and process them only to provide the service to you.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account & privacy. It is deleted permanently after a 14-day grace period, as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not by itself refund any payment; cancel Plus first so you are not charged again.
Disclaimers
Prepology is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise it will be error-free or always available. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a lost exam opportunity, lost data or lost time, arising from your use of Prepology. Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Plus in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem; you can also use the grievance process in our Privacy Policy. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date and version at the top. For material changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using Prepology and delete your account.
